Once upon a time, I was surfing through the internet. Suddenly, one thing came to another and i decided to sew myself a pair of shorts from a scrap piece of this fabric. I didn't find a pattern or tutorial that I liked, so I took care of one myself.
Allerdings wollte ich nicht direkt den Rest von meinem Hasenstoff opfern und mir fiel ein, dass ich vor kurzem erst wieder eine größere Ladung Stoffe und Reste spendiert bekommen hatte. Darin fand ich einen Rest grünen Jerseys und ich konnte loslegen.
But I didnt want to sacrifice my bunny-fabric right away, in case my plan didn't work out and I remembered that a friend of mine donated me a load of materials. There, I found a piece of green knit fabric and I could start working on my new shorts.
Leider ist mir die Shorts noch n Eckchen zu hoch und bei der Taschenpostion muss ich noch gucken. Gut finde ich, dass ich im Bund noch breites Gummiband verarbeitet habe. Insgesamt ist sie auch sehr bequem und tragbar.
Unfortunately, the shorts are a bit too high and I don't like the position of the pocket. I like that I incorporated some wide elastic into the waistband. Overall, the shorts are very comfy and wearable.
Beim nächsten Anlauf möchte ich dann direkt dann Hasenstoff verarbeiten. Wenn ich geeignetes Material finde, dann würde ich eines Tages auch ganz gern Sporthosen nach dem gleichen Prinzip machen (Ma ehrlich, warum verarbeiten die kein Gummi im Bund??).
Next time, I already want to use the bunny-fabric. If I find some suitable material in the future, I would like to make workout-shorts with my pattern (seriously, why don't they use any elastic in waistbands from workout-pants??).
